Effect of Durian By-Product on Nutrition Intake, Productivity, and Physiological Conditions of Kacang Goats (Capra aegagrus hircus)

The native plant of mainland Asia, Durian, presents a considerable opportunity to be used as animal feed due the high by-product production, with almost 70% every durian fruit being waste. This an excellent repurpose skin and seeds feed. An experiment was conducted evaluate impact on productivity physiological condition kacang goats. research from September November 2020 at Experimental Cage owned by CV. Prima BREED, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province. cages were stage cages, size 2 x 10 m, one placed in each cage. A total 18 Peanut goats divided into 3 treatment levels 6 replications according completely randomized design. study found that nutritional intake form rind seed flour much 0.5% affected carcass percentage, amount red blood cell, hemoglobin level, hematocrit value but had no effect body weight gain, dry matter consumption, use efficiency, weight, percentage non-edible carcasses, temperature, respiration frequency, pulse white cell count indicates utilization (seeds rind) did not have negative goats, making it viable option for
